Customers should be eligible to get multiple free gift if they have the same gift but at priced value in their cart.
Scenario:
  • Item A at $20 USD
  • Promo: every $100 spent gets 1 free Item A.
  • Customer cart: $220 worth of Item A.
  • System: Gives customer 2 Free Item A.
This would provide incentive to allow for that customer to spend more if they want that same item.
In a different scenario, if a customer has multiple items and also have Item A in their cart at priced value, they should be eligible for that free Item A if the cart is eligible. It shouldn't matter what items are in the cart to allow for eligibility.
I believe this would be great and maybe if this was a toggle somewhere in the promotion creation process. "Allow for same item priced value eligibility" or something.
