We’re currently using Discount Ninja to run a gamified Easter campaign, where users participate in a tactical Easter Egg Hunt. Each egg is hidden on a different page of the store and reveals a unique reward when clicked – this is done via a shareable link using a promotion token.
Each link triggers a different promotion that adds a specific free gift to the cart. The idea is that customers who find multiple eggs should be able to collect multiple rewards – just like collecting stickers or items in a game.
However, at the moment, activating one token link overwrites any previously triggered promotions, even if both are configured as stackable. This limitation makes it impossible to use multiple shareable links together in the same customer session.
We believe that enabling stacking of multiple token-triggered promotions (just like you allow stacking multiple discount codes) would unlock a whole new world of playful and creative campaign possibilities, such as:
Easter egg hunts (like ours)
Loyalty missions and quests
Advent calendars
Multi-step scavenger hunts
Tiered gift collections based on discovery
We think this feature would be widely appreciated by other merchants as well, especially those who want to turn promotions into fun, engaging experiences.
